The PGG organises Visits and Meetings throughout the year, in all areas of the country.

PGG-5119 – PGG AGM 2019 – Waddesdon Manor and Eythrope Gardens 04.10.19


The garden and manor at Waddesdon are the vision of Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild who purchased 2,700 acres of land in 1874 from the Duke of Marlborough. A year later he purchased for his sister, Miss Alice de Rothschild de Rothschild, the adjoining 1,400 acres at Eythrope.

This year's AGM Meeting is on the morning of Saturday 5th October starting at 10.00am including a presentation by Perennial at 12.15pm and lunch

Annual dinner followed by Ron Nettle Memorial Lecture. The speaker is Dr Mark Spencer F.L.S., Forensic Botanist, Hon. Curator (Plants), Linnean Society of London Scientific Associate, Natural History Museum, London.

PGG visit to Mill Barn, Weston Turville, a brand new conversion of a Grade ll eighteenth century barn sitting on a two acre plot, half farmyard and paddock.
